I've noticed that when I go to join a server that is nearly full (62/64 or 63/64) on my favorites list, that I'll wait ~2 minutes until the map loads, where I'll promptly be kicked, with the message saying that the server is full. Why does it do this??? Does anyone know?
On another note, whenever I spawn on SL, I usually spawn in an open field, with no smoke and no cover, only to be cut down instantly. Whats the deal with this? Does anyone find this irritating? |

The server thing is more or less who gets in first. So if you have a slow computer with a slow internet you will probably not get in before someone who has i7 SSD Raid 0 with 100mbps.
As for the squad leader thing, I am not sure how it works. You always spawn outside the objective and it seems pretty random.

It depends on where the SL is. For the mapper there is a
setting in the worldinfo which set the distance the player will spawn on an SL. From game release until a certain patch the mapper had to add spawn on SL specific player starts to use for spawn on SL. It gave the mapper some influence where to position that spawn. So add these spawn on SL at some cover or inside a building. Still it depends on the sort of map. A map with lots of open grounds will most likely spawn you on an open ground.

It doesn't reserve a slot for you when you are connecting so like has been said above if someone is connecting the same time as you and they beat your loading time they take the last free slot. Annoying
![]() Secondly if you are getting bad SL spawns you have a bad player as SL, moan at him in squad chat or change squad to someone who knows where best to position himself. |

Despite my "older" computer (see specifications in sig) I am always in the first 10 to load on map changes, and frequently in the first 6 or so. I attribute this to using this program http://www.majorgeeks.com/Advanced_S...e_3_d5927.html ,I run the "scan/repair" at least 2 times a week, I use the "turbo mode" when gaming, and to disallowing my antivirus from scanning the entire Steam folder and the My Games folder. So far, so good. TWB*SlowBull
