MKB42 (H) scoped single shot mode?

Hey there,
its my first post out here and I hope its the right place for this question.
I unlocked the scoped MKB 42 a few days ago and I have a question: is it possible to switch back to the single shot mode? pressing 6 activates/deavtivates zoom.

Press 6 when the weapon is not shouldered

Pressing 6 while not zoomed in should work.

thank you I never did it before, I always switched the firemode during shooting, so...

The little tumor scope is like the Mkb's built in abuse filter. Once you use it often enough, it'll gimp it self
