Default Barashka Suggestions

Just wanted to make a few suggestions to gameplay. Not a bug thread.

- Increase the round timer to at least 30 minutes.
- Increase the reinforcements to compensate for longer round.

So far, I like the map what little I have played (cough cough 20 minutes per round). Its a bigger map and even though there are more tanks, there are still a lot of infantry and 20 minutes barely covers the map unless one side is completely incompetent.

Feel free to add or argue any points.

I love the map, although personally I think there should be slightly less tank focus for a couple reasons. One is that when I play as infantry, I barely see other groups or squads of other infantry I can move with, and when I do get to follow a couple guys around we get picked off by tanks because we are clustered. And two is that when carriers get in they're are going to be the instant targets for tanks, and with 6+ tanks on one team at a time it might be hard to use them properly. Just my thoughts.

Other than that the map is really fun with long ranges everywhere, concealment is key.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a tank less each side, maybe even two. I'd prefer a more infantry focused combined arms battle. However, I know the tankers need some love too, so its not too bad and I won't push that point.

I'm almost liking this map more without halftracks. This way you don't have crazy players just driving all over the place creating a big clusterf^ck.

Yeah, I think there should be fewer tanks. Like four tanks for each team. And the timer should be increased to 30-40 minutes IMHO. I'm also not fond of the forward spawnpoints once one of the bridges is captured. It should only open after both bridges are captured by a team, with the new spawnpoint being very close to the river, but on the friendly side of the river, and not right on the enemy one.

Yep 30/40 mins & more tickets for both sides is the way to go, the number of tanks did'nt bother me so much. I found there was plenty of cover to use, and that the map had a real cat & mouse feel to it.

This idea could help with infantry movement. Smoke shells from tanks.
