This guy wears greanish colored clothes similar in colour to the germans.
This is naturally an advantage for him: he might be confused with a german guy.
So the days are over where we have distingueshes friend and foe by color?

I don't think the focus of uniform design on either side was one of: How can we make ourselves look different? It was more tied up in tradition, economy and function for each country. My understanding is that the uniforms chosen and their colors are an acurrate representation of the uniforms of the 1942 period. They are not arbitrarily chosen to make it easier for the player to define at the expense of history.

not all. all that is is the russian winter padded uniform given to heroes. its also not like the german uniform at all, the padded uniform being a light green the german being a field grey also a white hat makes it completely different.

for a game based on history if the sides wear similar colours theres not much they can do

since when was getting tk'd, because you look more lke a german, an advantage. i can't count the number of times i've been tk'd and the guy said, "sorry, your uniform looked german". wanna know how many times the germans apologized for not shooting me? none.
