Tripwire Interactive,
I have been playing RO2 for about a year or two, and it has met the expectations I have had of it after playing RO1 for a long time. I feal the multiplayer is excellent and I have wasted many hours of my life playing it. ![]() There is one aspect of the game I feel that could be improved upon. I feel that the single player is lacking. This may be my fault but I was expecting it to be very different. When I play single player it feels to me that it is just multiplayer but with bots. It feels that there is no real plot to it. Instead I feel the single player should be more like call of dutyish or operation flashpointish where you have to secure a bridge, or blow up artillery, or save someone or what ever. I feel it should have like characters you follow the whole game like a sergeant or a lieutenant you follow or even lead a squad. Or with mass formations of troops on both sides. And I don't mean like Call of Duty where you wipe out a whole dam full of Germans by yourself. I think you might get what I am trying to say. Just food for thought for RO3 or other future projects. Thanks, King Pyrrhus |

RO 2 is multiplayer game. Solo mission is only a bonus. Solo in RO 2 has no interest by itself. Ask to everybody, man, wake up Multiplayer is the heart of RO 2. Not solo is just for help to discover the game. It's not the real game. The only reason to live of RO 2 is : multiplayer.RO 3 - if RO 3 will - need only to be good in mulitplayer... I wouldn't mind seeing a realistic, story driven Red Orchestra campaign in the future.

I agree that it's a multiplayer game. An actual story campaign with a good war_is_hell atmosphere would be appreciated though.
