The only reason I have from this, is mainly because TF2 has a big, but not too big, suprise this summer, but their current event isnt going to be over til july 11th. If you dont play tf2, basically there was a massive update called Pyromania, and it added a new game mode, plus lots of extra stuff. However, theres one more thing that valve will release soon, and thats the annual saxxy awards. When the Saxxys started last year, thats when the summer sale started, so Im thinking that the summer sale might be on the 11th, when the current event ends, or the 12th, which is the day after the end of the current event. I honestly think that all that th sumer sale event will do, is turn the zeds into the summer event skins, and perhaps fix minor bugs or glitches. We'll just have to wait and see.

I actually already hate these special events. Its nice to have a new map and weapons but I am tired of those "special" specimens. For the first 20 waves they are nice but then they get annoying and I want the original specimens back. EDIT: And I am not even talking about the new models breaking the hit markers but that's different story. The Circus husk headshot marker can't be more broken.

i'm not to sure on this idea to wait for the 11th or 12th, it only gives alittle over a week to enjoy the change, i like what tripwire has done with killing floor dont get me wrong, but i'm just not sure about these rumors

i dont want them to make kf2...yet. have you seen the unreal 4 tech demo's. watch the editor footage and then imagine the husk firing his cannon through that kind of smoke. with displacement trails and the smoke glowing as the fireball flies through it. the next killing floor could be the prettiest team based multiplayer experience of the next generation if they hold out another 12 months or so before they start.

imagine the bloat with full jelly physics.
the stalkers with proper image displacement instead of a red texture
smooth animations
proper physics on the grenades (though they're pretty good ATM)
not using hitboxes, or at the very least using the physics hitboxes.
having melee weapons use physics hitboxes instead of just guessing it hit.

the next killing floor will be a godsend but if we can wait a little longer we can enjoy the visual splendour of unreal4 as well...i hope

Frankly, I agree. I would wait a little longer for KF2 if it got built on the unreal 4 engine considering how unbelievable it is in terms of physics and particle effects. Just please do not develop another cookie cutter WW2 shooter.
