Ha! Yes, I appreciate you getting outside your comfort zone to kill that poor Panzer...

You could be unaware of that, of course, but that has become a very common tactic for MGers, and that's probably why we've been seeing so many MGers doing way too well.
Do I hear an e-peen deflating again?

I'm not over complicating things, it's pretty straight forward.

What's complicated is trying to pick your nose while driving off-road, now that's complicated.

Back to the OP's stats shot, I also don't see what is wrong or out of the ordinary.

Regarding MG players doing well by exploiting angles of the ground, etc. I can honestly say I never did. I prefer a position that has a higher vantange point and with a good backdrop I can blend into.... As well as relocating often.

In his defense, I must state that SolitarioSoldat is really an awesome machinegunner. I actually copied him on Grain Elevator I must admit
I don't assume he is exploiting a glitch but unaware of it. He really is THAT good (especially on Station, Grain Elevator and Spartanovka).

I had a guy on my team last night (playing German) and we were both MG Class (Map Mamayev) and near the end of the match I saw a message from him saying something like "Holy crap, is that your single shot I'm hearing? How do you get it to fire so quickly?"

With my Arrow Key Setup (Not WASD Setup) I have my Enter Key as my Melee/Alt Fire button, which allows me to fire off the single-shot/semi-auto of the MG34 faster than the Right Mouse Button.

I can basically fire the single-shot almost as fast as Fully Auto while preventing the barrel & sights from climbing as much as full auto.

*MG Tip #304 - Assign your Single-Shot to a Key on the Keyboard, not your Mouse*

No Prob... Let me know if it's any better for you.

Because it's bound to my Enter key (left of the Arrow keys I use to move) I have my right hand free for aiming, regular shot, iron sights on middle mouse and right click for jump/climbing.... And I just need to hammer away with my pinky finger when I want to quickly melee or single shot. Works great for the Tank MG as well.

My wheel mouse is bound to nothing as when I brought up Iron Sights, sometimes the weapon toggle menu would come up and get me killed.... I have quick switch options on the numpad instead which can be quickly accessed by my thumb or pointer finger.

Due to this setup, the keys are spaced out nicely around my movement controls that I never have to look down to see where my hand is if I move it (like what happened often with WASD) plus I don't have to worry about my palm hitting lower keys because there isn't any.

all of this results in having a much quicker responses and reflexes compared to others who toggle through weapon selections, use the single shot/melee on the mouse or sometimes lose their positioning of their hand in the WASD setup.

Those extra seconds can mean a lot sometimes.

.... That and I have been using the Arrow key setup since Wolf3D / DooM... So I'm just accustomed to it.

My single shot set up is to push the mouse wheel down. That's the fastest I could achieve for melee/single shoot MG. Faster than dedicating a keyboard button to it. Just so you know how I am rollin'

Didn't play with you for 2-3 months because I didn't play the game at all for that time. But I remember being in your team on Spartanovka while you were machinegunner. Spartanovka is probably the only map that I don't like to play machinegunner on because I love the flanking with my KAR 98.

was someone else you got me confused, I like to flank the left side too right after we cap the church, cant do that with the MG, flanking them from the left side kinda kills it for the russians cause they cant get to the cap zones on time.
