Realism sprint speed is about just right with what the average equipped soldier can do. Olympic sprinters go much much faster.
FoV changes as people sprint help impart the feeling of going faster.

Having done plenty of sprinting with boots in my time, I can say that it matters a lot what surface you're running on. Tall grass is very difficult to run in. Running uphill is a legitimate workout.
Classic is too slow on level ground that is paved or dry dirt. Realism, however, is too fast going uphill, in snow, grass, etc... A hard issue to work around.

And this is for a "fully equipped" soldier that has maybe 20lbs of gear and is as well-rested as you can get in-game. |

I correct my answer, running speed in Classic is fine, now, i have played a few rounds at barashka, very nice.
But tanks are still broken in many ways

I'm thinking about trying the update out but the zoom and lower recoil holds me back. No zoom and high recoil was unrealistic but it made the whole thing challenging and you could walk around without being sniped by everyone on large maps which gave room to more tactics. Also zoom dependent on what gun you use in classic is weird.
