Standard for the VC, I would imagine, would be the SKS or Mosin. Type 56's were a bit uncommon from what I have heard.
Standard for the US can vary a lot also. Of course the M16 would be present in the later years, but I have to wonder if we will see the M14, M1 Garand or BAR(Those could probably be ported over from Rising Storm) since those were all used throughout the war.
You are including the US, VC and NVA?

I am hoping the mod is taking place during '67 or '68 so we can use most of the "good" weapons. I wouldn't mind using the M14 though.

I wouldn't mind the M14 or M1 Garand or M1 Carbine. The more, the merrier.

I'd really like it if they chose to put the BAR in the Machine-Gun role, despite the 20-Round magazine capacity. It would be a real twist to have to plan your shots or suppress when it is deemed necessary.

List I am expecting:
NVA/VC:
-Mosin Nagant
-TT-33
-SKS
-Type 56/ Type III AK47
-MAT-49
-M1 Carbine
-M14
-Thompson

USA:
-M1 Garand
-Thompson
-M1 Carbine
-BAR
-M60
-M16
-Grease Gun (Maybe)
-R700/M40
-M14
-Colt 1911

We're very close to a new media release. There have been blog posts prepped for a few months now detailing a lot of what you guys are asking about. Now that we have some supporting media for those blog posts look forward to seeing them in the next week or two.

Thank you for being more specific on the date, I've read for so long how there was going to be new media "in the near future". Can't wait!

I am PERFECTLY fine with this list. I don't need anything more in a Vietnam War game. If thats the final weapons list it would be great!

Maybe add the k98, mp40, type 38, MAS-36 and a few nambu pistols to the VC weapons loadout? From what I've seen in pictures and from what I've read, the VC used these weapons. I'm not sure how extensively they were used, but the US captured a lot of them during the war. It would be interesting to see one team with a fairly uniform weapon and class loadout fighting against a team with such a massive weapon variety and lax class structure.

p.s forgot to mention the PPSh-41. And the DP-28.

Yes the RO2 ww2 weapons (K98 and so on ...) would be pretty easy to add I think. And a huge weapon variety is always good.
