Default Great game

Yesterday evening i played as a german commander in the bridges.....map.

There was teamwork and communication (chat) to each other.

It was a blast of a game and i enjoyed it very very much.

The russian side with their T34 lost

But a question, why don`t have the german side a tank???

It was almost impossible for the russians to even get to the bridge without the tank.

Of all the times I've played it, the map was always very close. I think the addition of a German tank would throw the balance for a loop.

Still, I honestly love the feeling of having few options to deal with a tank. Really adds to the intensity of matches.

I've only been able to play that map twice so far.... the last time was last week and due to having little familiarity of the map yet, I really sucked and accidentally TK'd enough players to get an auto-boot.... which was the first time in months.

Though I also got dropped several times by team mates, so I don't feel too bad about it.

I'd like to get some more time to try this and some of the other custom maps, but there's only one server in Australia that seems to have custom maps available and is heavily populated (I don't want to toast more team mates while I figure out where everybody is & where I'm supposed to go) and as mentioned plenty of times, offline gameplay isn't an option for me due to the movement bug.

So for now, I'll stick to the stock maps most times.

Yesterday evening we won again at the german side. They couldn`t go further after their 2 capplaces.

Use sweetfx to make less teamkills. It really make sense.
On youtube is an upload how to use it.

I love the fact that only the ussians have a tank. It makes the tank focus on infantry support. Its so much great fun to be anti-tank or engineer on 'Bridges', its your job to destroy that tank.

I don't know if Harley is going to read this, but once again. Please don't add a german tank or remove the russian one.
The fact that only the russians have a tank is a big part of the 'Bridges' map character.

That`s true, but if you have a very good tanker then he can deside if you win.

This night at the russian side. We won on 1 minute left. PFFFFuu that`s exiting.

Russians go left of bridge with some smoke and it caps better.

Crawl if you have to but get into that cap.

The problem with the original map design was that before C/D, Russians had cover to their front but not to their side. So as soon as you stopped moving forward, you'd immediately get picked off by German snipers and riflemen out on the edges of the map.
