Default How to use ROWaterVolume to slow player

Can someone describe how to use the ROWaterVolume to slow player movement? I've tried a few different things and it's not doing what I want.

Adjust the ROWaterVolume Properties (F4)

PhysicsVolume:
..Entry Pain - uncheck for False
..Physics on contact - check for true (otherwise actors need to be completely inside volume for effects to work)
..Fluid friction - adjust to suit your likes
..Ground friction - adjust to suit your likes
..Max damping force - adjust to suit your likes
..Rigid Body Damping - adjust to slow vehicles

Volume:
..Process all actors - check for true

WaterVolume:
..Fill in the sound slots

Thanks for the reply. I was already using the ground friction value to slow the player, but the issue I have is that it also causes the view/camera to "jitter" back and forth when moving through the volume. I figured I was doing it the wrong way.

I'm trying to reduce dismount speed as if running through thick mud, with the friction set at 800 I get a good speed but the jitter is really weird.

BTW what is the fluid friction value used for? I tried several different numbers and it didn't seem to do anything.

Actor has to be immersed in the volume to see fluid friction work (AKA "swimming" and not touching the ground).

Bad news is it dose not work for tanks! no matter what settings I use they will only slow to 30 kmh if I set the damping any higer than 3 they start to pull weelies slow then drop go up through the gears again when in top gear it starts again.
Water friction no effect
Ground friction no effect
Velocity no effect

What I am looking for is 5 to 6kmh for wading.

If anyone has got this to work I would like to know how?
