RO2 doesn't belong on this list.

Game breaking bugs? At this point in time, there are none i can think of.

The broken server browser, that the game was launched with was a unbearable game breaker. I could only refresh two times, then fewer and fewer servers would display, until i rebooted my computer. This issue was resolved long ago, but it did kill my initial excitement for the game.

I once had to re-log into a server, because a tank crewmember joined my tank, he spawned, drove of in the tank, but i was left behind, as a man just sitting in the air xD probably happened because it was a custom map. It bothered me most, because i was shelling a house, and this one enemy teased me, told me if i got hotter or colder, still couldn't manage to blow him up.

god i was disgruntled with the game for a loooooooooooooooooong time. I even uninstalled until someone asked me to check their custom maps and stated that the game now runs alot better. Turns out i CAN play it ( albeit it looks like something from the early 2000´s ) fine so far.

Ultimatly the custom content was the kicker here. So is it dead yet ? not really.

Imho, the only major thing this game needs is an official map pack release with larger maps , and a few vehicles. But other then that its perfectly playable . Even on my last gen C2D laptop.

We see every day cheaters ruining the good atmosphere of this game. I hoped it could become better and better by fixing bugs and the .ini tweaking but it isn't. And the dev admit finally there are a lot of "cheats" (foliage, sounds, fog, smoke). Every day some of those cheaters play and are punctually accused of cheating but no admin ban them. We speak about soldiers with an incredible number of kills....mostly not playing the tl role.

For me this game is dead too. No reason to complain further.

Good luck for RS sell TW1.

I come to think that, some people just get owned so much they think "must be hax, must be .ini tweaking" ect. This aint cod, a clever player always will come up in the upper third.

What do you define as incredible number of kills?

To the OP. So you proposed to TWI in their forums some changes that they must make, and they didn't listen to you?

DO THEY NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE?!?!?

I guess it would have to be around the 150-200+ kill mark for a non TL or Tank Commander.

It's quite possible to push near the 100 kills mark as a rifleman over two rounds so there will be people who can exceed that no doubt.

As a matter of fact sojuz was one of the best competitive players in RO1 and pretty well known in the community. He should know better though that tripwire doesn't give a sh*t about those people.

Come on guys, Rising Storm is the solution to all of this. But they aren't releasing it. Rising Storm will definitely attract more players and makes the game more long lasting and enjoyable. After that, TWI should really release some content, to keep the momentum going. Then , Iron Europe will be releasing, and I'm really excited of that.

This game is nowhere near buggy. There is a huge sense of self-entitlement. Your problems are anecdotal and not the norm by a longshot anymore.
