I've only played sniper only maps in COD's, which were fun, I did enjoy them. They were all set up similarly, big wide maps with an impassable no mans land in the middle, with various terrain/buildings etc mirrored on opposing sides. I'd often wished you could cross the center of the map, just for the challenge of trying to sneak across.
I'd like to be able to choose snipers or bolts, to be able to mix things up. Will there be smoke available? I think a little would be good. |

The destruction on the bridge seems a little too symmetric. One side had a destroyed tank, then on the other side there would be a destroyed tank. It is like a mirror between the two roads.

TBH , thats an old video from when i was creating a "Sniper" version of the map. Thats the reason for the symmetrical layout. i wanted to have even balance for both teams. the map has since been changed. the map is more asymmetrical now.

I used to run a sniper only server in RO..yeah belly crawl and camp all day..but was for a chosen few and we loved it.
I am afraid I don't understand enough of the RO2 SDK and how cooked/published/etc maps work to be able to do this again. I can see the roles buried in world info..but any changes and I get nothing but crashes. Can published/cooked maps be edited? I don't have the talent to create anything of my own, just like the sniper only game play for me and my friends Someone willing to walk me through how to do this..if it's possible? Would just want to take existing maps..strip down to sniper rifle..binoculars..smoke grenade and pistol. RO1 it was a simple task.. In RO1 and ROCA, you only had Territory Mode, thus an objective was needed.... in RO2 you have FireFight Mode. Just crank the timer up by a lot and let people take their time to use some fancy tactics and critical thinking and it could be pretty fun. Upcoming Update.....
Change log: "Beta 2" -Fixed where you spawned on top of objects...Boxes, Cars, etc. -Fixed where you spawn on Obj 2 instead of the spawn points for Obj 2. -Fixed Compass, Now reads correct direction. -Improved bot paths. -Added more debris/smoke for cover. -added ammo drops. -add more static mesh for Bridge's main structure. -Changed flag texture ![]() -Bridge suspension cable is now accessible. ( High High elevation )
