Default Make the MG tripod's movable also why not coordinate your deffense?

I hate the mg tripods, they are pretty useless, and also spawn in very stupid locations. Can't there be a system to select the Mg where to sit, something like Natural selection where you select the structure's position and also if you are unhappy with it you can move it whetever you like. Of course you won't be able to move it all across the map to kill enemy soldiers from the spawn.

But just saying this game needs more controlable deffenses, such as pre placeable sandbags, so that you can enforce a deffensive position. Much like in Men of war. The Mg positions are quite useless almost nobody uses them and they spawn very awkward. By controling them or moving them, using maybe 2 players at once to make it a higher risk to make it move. So that you'll be sitting ducks. Just sitting and firing like an idiot hoping to pick out some one is pretty retarded, something needs to be done to the current system.

Maybe a feature for the commander, the engineer or the squad leader to move deffensive positions like sandbags and mg's. Just sitting there doesn't really help.

Also by strategically positioning some of the deffensive positions to where you need them most you also intensify the role of the engineer, giving him more to do, putting those satchel charges at work. So why can't this be implemented?

If it were possible to "call-in" a HMG as one would call in artillery it might work but I'm not sure if the HMG's can spawn the same way. There are several things going on in the kismet that make those MG positions show up on the map.

If two players had to move it, I doubt anyone would use it at all. It is already hard enough to move around on the battlefield with your gun alone. Imagine carrying the MG across the field without being shot.

Maybe commanders could call where the MG should be but then we would need a bunch of work to make it balanced. What if they call it and it spawns in the middle of the air?
What about spawning underground? How long until you can move it?

I don't think this can be easily implemented into the game, not without more problems and more headaches.

I like to use the MG's and I get quite a few kills with them. Maybe other people are just scared of being picked off.

Maybe they would make use in the Countdown mode where you need to defend a certain position. By adding a feature to make deffenses would impact the game realism and gameplay. I don't see why not people should work together if it is for the sake of theyr own benefit.

The easiest way to get rid of all these ego problems would be to get rid off the leveling system this way nobody would have any problem with anything.
