I have to be honest most engineers throw them around like confetti so I have little sympathy if they get kicked, especially the russian engineers on mamayev who blow up their own bunkers!
That would be pretty detrimental to the immersion aspect of the game, I don't think objects randomly started to glow in Stalingrad A better way would be to automatically have a loud voice prompt saying "satchel active nearby" to everyone in the vicinity every time a satchel is placed.

Objects already glow in ro2!
Anyone with a satchel can see the objectives glowing yellow so i dont see the difference.

That in it self can be argued as very detrimental to the immersion, but it is limited only to the person throwing the satchel

Just bring back the "Achtung! Shambeh bambeh!" command and I'm happy. It's a quite important thing to be able to say. More important than "Taunt".
p.s. I have nothing against the "Taunt" voice command.

Totes need major dockage. For the foreigners: Totally need many points docked.

Hahaha that confetti comment made me laugh! So true. Freaking everywhere.

I also like the glowing idea to an extent, but humans will continue to be 'special' and players will be like, "oooo! ctrl ctrl ctrl ctrl ctrl BOOM"

Why can't you just make it so that if a satchel explodes within radius of a satchel objective, it doesn't count any friendly kills?

Surely the potential for griefing is fairly low if you can only get away with killing people at an objective. It would also be easy to avoid, just don't go near satchel targets when the griefer is around and he won't be able to do anything.

No point. Commands as such won't warn those who'll get into position after you're done shouting and hide in a hole, waiting for the bomb to go off. Even with VOIP people do tend to stay near places their consider "safe" in their own opinion as they are used to pay little to no attention to VOIP or voice commands as such.

Running into a satchel for team members should be considered suicide. If a player is camping on a desructible objective, stands to reason someone on your team is likely to blow it up. That would only hold true if in close proximity to a destructible objective, otherwise you would have engineers TKing with impunity.
This is pretty much answer for the problem, along with adding some sort of visual clue (just like the one the MG operators get after asking for ammo).
