Default Writing a Guide for RO2: HoS (for noobs/new players)

will be free of course, unless the community decides that its that well written that it should be charged for :P (probably not lol)

will be trying to cover everything about the game from general firing tips to game optimization..

but im here asking you guys (the community) what you think i should cover, i just want to make sure i don't miss anything, also if you're interested in writing anything for it, ill be more than happy to add it. (im a noob at tanking so if anyone wants to cover that, feel free )

wanna give nymets1104 credit for the idea too

Danh posted a great collection of threads last month that I found extremely informative.

This is a great starting point but I like your idea of guided tutorials or workshops (scheduled ahead of time?) to assist new players with nuances of RO2.

Just don't forget to stress the importance of the capzones!! I see so many new guys totally ignoring the objectives handing the enemy a easy victory.

Its awesome that your doing this hats off to you.I did a small guide after the initial release to help new players adjust to the game.

Mine short and to the point ....mainly stressing playing over the objectives.

is the game really that hard to learn?

ostfront was challenging and that was easy to learn, hos is even easier.

and frankly if you want to learn the game you play it, if you dont no matter how many guides are wrote you wont improve, and if you do suck (by that i mean are so bad that its painfull) your the not type of person who'll sit reading a guide.

this game like most thing in life you get better by playing and building experiance not from reading about it.

and is Tux a clan (if not then ignore the rest of what im going to say it must be another tag that is very similar) but i played a game with a few guys and they sucked they sucked so bad and they would not listen to other players. so if thats your clan i dont think your in the posistion to write a review never mind a guide. if thats not then carry on

no, tux is my game name :P plus you're in england, im australian. so wasn't me lol

TUF = The Ultimate Force is my team, hate the word clan lol (only member atm :P)

i just used the first part of my email before the @ because tux wasn't allowed

im was actually a head admin for RO2 for a "esports" site over here in AU. but the game wasn't in a state for a ladder at the time so the community gave up on it, i haven't though, im still one of the admins of the official AU group though, along with Booboo and a few others.

and i agree that its alot easier, but people are lazy these days, they hate learning stuff without visual help, blame the cod era, people can't play games these days without the game holding your hand.
