But one question. In the original, you could start up a multiplayer server, load it up with bots, add a few friends on either side and have some fun comp stomping or playing against each other with some meatshields in between.
Are you still able to do that? Can you have bots on a multiplayer server and only have a few friends playing with you? I only ask because I just saw that the co-op promised is still missing. |

Yeah just join an empty server with bots and invite your friends over.

Great game that's only getting better! Also, the bots are way smarter compared to RO1.

Yes, but you will have to join an empty server that has bots. You cannot locally host the same way you did in RO1.
Alternatively, single-player offers some free-play in a sense, but it works more akin to the Countdown gamemode as opposed to the more popular Territory gamemode. |

Upload a server with password. Then you know for sure
that you can play with your buddies.

You can also create your own offline MP Match by going through the console and play against bots in matches similar to what you'd experience online.....
