Can we have a battle of Kursk map plz

prehaps some new tanks could be introduced? and maybe a more accurate airstrike rather than arty (especially if Tigers get introduced)

lots of tanks and some infantry

also why does nobody every play the tank map on multiplayer (the airfield one)

There are two other custom Tanks maps: Arad2 and Orel_at_Dawn, that also have tread appeal.

Six_Ten is also working on a topographically correct map.

I am afraid a past tense is needed here

I simply do not play any tankmaps because the lack of vehicles made it too boring or monotonous for me.

The map quality is great or at least not the problem for me but the missing ability to take something else than always the same tanks kills it in my case.
I would rather have preferred to simplify the tank use and depiction such as cutting the interior movement in tanks for the sake of simplicity and the creating of more vehicles with only gunner/driver position views.

At least that`s my point why i do not play tank maps atm.

tank combat with mouse control is so boring. It's just point and click now, no point in playing with tanks.

Not true. How you control the turret is only a small thing... there's still the tactics of trying to out-manoeuvre the enemy, hit them before they hit you, stay alive, support your infantry, etc...

Obviously a park-n-shoot kinda guy.

Try firing on the move, or performing a circle-of-death (ahhh Mechwarrior).

Without the mouse control of the turret and WASD vehicle, it would be impossible to play IMO.

I feel tank combat is more tactics and maneuvering with a bit of firing in-between

RO1 isn't impossible to play man. And in that game only tankers who were really working together could circle-of-death. Now anyone can do it. It used to be a way for a weak, but well-crewed tank like Stuart m5 or T34(76) to take out a KT, or Tiger. Now it's barely useful. RO2 has virtually NO incentive to teamtank. /rant

In regard to the OP:

TE_Kursk, TE_Orel, TE_Yakovlevo are all based on the battle of Kursk. Check them out.
