Default Tank spawning question

I've had this weird bug on 'Bridges', where the crew can't spawn in the tank without the tank going past an ammo dump. Is there something else I need to place all over the map for the crew spawn to work as expected?

Since my last update where I added a 1 min spawn time to the tank there's a new tank spawning bug on my map that's been reported.

"The latest version adds a new bug to this. When the crewman spawns in, they take the driver position, which despawns the tank commander. After about a minute (respawn time?), the tank commander respawns back in the tank, but in the LOADER position (or at least behind the loader). You can't do anything. Then after another minute (or possibly getting to the next resupply), you spawn into the commander position."

Also what are tankcover nodes? I've searched on here and googled but came up with nothing. I don't have them on my map but others do...could this be the reason for these bugs?

My guess is that the tankcovernodes are used by Bots when they use a tank.

Tankcrew roles behave weird on Rakowice when I play it offline. I don't see them in the rolelist. Next moment when I used the tank as commander and respawn as
engineer I see the tankcrewroles in the list.
I did not hear anything on how they behave online.

I have my vehicle and its roles set up exactly like a stock map.

Off topic...

I would like a spawnprotectionvolume for vehicles. I never understood they took out the properties out of
this volume. Or are they moved and I can find them ?

You must have at least one TankCoverNode in an Objective for the AI to go there. Populate the Tank harrass Positions with the TankCoverNodes in your Objective's properties. More TankCoverNodes can be used to help the AI find sweet spots in your map, assign Teams in the TankCoverNode's properties.

Luckily Tanks can't mantle... they just roll over stuff.

@Drecks, SpawnPprotectionVolumes work just fine for my Tanks.

Mine work fine as well. I ment a SpawnPprotectionVolumes specific for vehicles.
So properties in the volume. Like they where before.
In a Combined arms map one could have the situation where you want vehicles come less close then infantry....

rgr that. Didn't even see it as an option. Guess now that it's not there never missed it. I see your point, different limits make sense for CA maps.

Thanks for the info guys. At least I can rule out tankcover nodes being the problem.

I can see all my roles ok and have the tank crews set up the same as stock...the only thing I can think of that's different about my tank from the others is the tank spawns at the same spawn throughout the match. Currently I have it like this in Kismet and that's the only reference to it, these two nodes. Should I be doing this differently?

hmm I just repeated this exact same problem on the new Barashka map.

this part:
"When the crewman spawns in, they take the driver position, which despawns the tank commander. After about a minute (respawn time?), the tank commander respawns back in the tank, but in the LOADER position (or at least behind the loader). You can't do anything. The fact your tankcrew spawns at the same spawn the entire game can not be a problem. Why should it ? Their ain't a rule spawns need to move.

Yeah I know. I'm was running out of ideas obviously.

The only other difference I can think of is that my map is the only one with a tank on one side only. I know, not logical, but stranger things have happened.

I still need to work out why the tank has always had to drive past an ammo dump in order for the crew to spawn. Perhaps I have to set it to Combined Arms somewhere in the World properties?

Also it's the only map Mike Nomad could'nt turn the tank off in the admin ini.
I'm missing something somewhere....
