Hey mates !!

I googeld and googeld, but didn't find any information about some tanks in RO 2

So here are some questions:

How many positions are in the RO 2 tanks?
What was changed in the realism of the tank?
Which tanks will be available?
Can infantrymen sit on the tank?
Are there more difficult ammo shells?
Can I walk around in the tank like in a bomber and change my position?

Thank you

How many positions are in the RO 2 tanks?
1 driver 1 commander 1 Gunner

What was changed in the realism of the tank?
it feels like you are really driving a tank and not be a tank

Which tanks will be available?
in release panzer4 and t-34/75 i think but later they gonna add to the game l panzer 3 and t-70

Can infantrymen sit on the tank?
no idea but could be fun

Are there more difficult ammo shells?
at the moment i think HE high explosive and anti tank rounds fore penetration

Can I walk around in the tank like in a bomber and change my position?
No but if crew members are dead you can change to their position with some 1ste person animation

1. 3 or 4 positions, we're not completely sure.
2. Tanks now have many subsystems that can be damaged/destroyed, crewmen inside can be killed.
3. Pz III J. Pz IV G, T-34/76, T-70
4. We don't know.
5. I don't understand the question.
6. You can change positiion in first person.

All of that info is in the Fact Thread.

1.) Pls 4 ! would be amazing
2.) So, there wasn't changed a lot....
3.) That are less tanks then in RO...... 4, the 20 in RO 1 were though little
4.) Would be cool, and if not, we need a Zis or an Opel Blitz :D
5.) Type of Ammo (Heat, AP, HE, SMOKE, APBC, Canister, APCR......)
6.) Exactly as in RO ?

got more questions

1.) The Bug MG (the right to the driver), can he do more than in RO ?, In RO he was just capable to shoot and that's it.
2.) You can't enter or leave a tank? So you spawn with the tank?
3.) What would pos 4 do? Spotting the tanks?
4.) Why just 4 tanks?

Look at that, you will find answer for your questions: 1,2,3.
YouTube - YouTube - John Gibson's interview to www.redorchestra.ru at Igromir 2010 part2

4: because create an entire interior 3D modelled, with animations and code stuff take a lot of work to do (and time).

1.) Pls 4 ! would be amazing 4 in the Pz. IV Ausf G (Gunner, Driver, Commander, Hull MG), 3 in the T-34/76 '41 (Gunner and commander are the same role, hull mg, driver), 2 in the T-70 (Gunner + commander and driver) and 4 for the Pz III Ausf J (I think)
2.) So, there wasn't changed a lot.... A lot has changed. Subsystems mean optics, turret controls, main gun, things like that.
3.) That are less tanks then in RO...... 4, the 20 in RO 1 were though little The ones in RO2 are very detailed.
4.) Would be cool, and if not, we need a Zis or an Opel Blitz :D
The transport for the Russians is a Universal Carrier (AKA Bren Carrier)
5.) Type of Ammo (Heat, AP, HE, SMOKE, APBC, Canister, APCR......)
6.) Exactly as in RO ?

Answers in bold.

I recognized, that there is no animation when you switch from Drive to MachineGunner (Bug MG)

Are you sure that the MG AI was dead? If the AI is alive then the switch is instantaneous.

I have a couple tank related questions.

1) So a commander can lock a tank for solo tanking. Can he do this is CA maps where there is only one tank?

2) A non-lame reason to exit a tank is if say your entire crew is dead, and there's a friendly tank a few feet away that is also in the same situation. It would make sense to be able to get out and run to that other tank. I'm worried about tankers just suiciding the second a few crew members get killed.
