Is the chache extractor still working after the update?
This is maybe the problem...
I suggest to delete the chache and the Published folder, then subscribe the maps in the workshop.

Best thing to do after each and every patch release. Go to your Cache folder and delete all the cache and open up the cache.ini and remove all the lines except [Cache].

Then head on out and you should have no issues if you do this upon every patch release.

First you should read right above your post those were suggestions. Second you should also be sure that your local files are fully updated by going into Steam and Right Click on your Game and go to Properties and then Local Files Tab and pick Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Then do everything in my post above yours and then try joining.

Our server CLOWNS HEROES SERVER has all the latest working content and see if you can join the server. This way anything can be ruled out. I know what's on our server and can try to help you further if none of the above and my original suggestions don't work.

Did you unsuscribe because Steam Workshop downloads didn't work?

I found that after Steam Workshop was introduced, traditional redirect download doesn't work anymore (it stalled at redirect and eventually crashed), But that is not much of a problem if you just subscribe to the relevant download content in the Workshop, it downloads the material whenever it is released, and thus no redirecting are necessary.

I've found that both the Workshop items and the redirect work. But then again, I've never downloaded duplicates of the maps, and always try to keep my downloads folders clean.

Well, I too will add myself to the list. I too have been getting my custom maps from the Workshop. Certain custom maps cause the game to hang on the loading screen. I have to exit out with the task manager. So far, the only KNOWN ones are those from Rekrut since I try to join a server with one of them. There may or may not be others, not sure since it doesn't say the map name when you are on a server when it changes map to another custom.

Ive had nothing but problems with the steam workshop... I unsubscribed to everything, cleaned out the cache and have manually installed the custom maps. All of them work now........There are many people having problems with steam workshop....

To add to what people are complaining about. Just FYI with all my suggestions. I've NEVER used the workshop. I too only play on my server and I manually upload all the maps and have redirect on and all is working.
