Hey guys,
to fix the bots-path i want to check out how Bots moving in Pie. Because i dont want to start always the test server, cook, and load up the map and download it again to test. i could increase the min. spawntime to have longer time to check, but thats not the best solution ^^. is their and console command? greetz |

you could use a combination of "setjumpz xy" and in the air "fly" or "ghost".
That's the way I do it at the moment. |

'god' is also an interesting option, maybe it can be combined with 'fly'?

I don't known much about the sdk and if those commands will work there but you can give it a try :
" Slomo 2 " to speed up things x2 ( while in fly mode for example ) " Viewbot Name_Of_The_Bot " to see a specific bot , for example " Viewbot Anton " , " viewbot " command alone should switch you from bot to bot each time you enter it . also command : "Viewplayer Name_Of_The_Bot" example: "ViewPlayer Anton" should work Last edited by K@n@y; 12-09-2012 at 03:26 PM. |

Hello,
i mean with your tipps, its works much better. to check the bots from the air. but sometimes if ein change the view (from normal to weapon), god mode gets useless or deactivated and i get shoot in the air. but its works bit and still helped me. but maybe you have some more tipps and tricks. |

Yeah god mode is somewhat fubar, it immunes you to the damages you do to yourself like dropping a nade close to you and you will have no damages, you will just make a nice jump but bots still can kill you ...
another thing you can do since it's your map is add camera actors in some spots of the map for testing purpose with large angle of view, then switch view on them using command : ViewActor ROSpawnCameraActor_10 ViewActor ROSpawnCameraActor_11 etc etc using the right number corresponding to the camera actor that you will see at the bottom of the SDK when you select it. if you cams are well positioned this will allow you to have a "fixed" view and see your pawns movements in some sections of the map, might be more long to do than just use the "viewbot" command Last edited by K@n@y; 12-12-2012 at 04:22 PM. |
