Hey, guys.

As soon as I got my hands on the Heroes of Stalingrad beta I was horrified. The game that I had been waiting for since the day it was announced and semi-worshipped was tremendously bad. It ran slower than Steven Hawking and had more bugs than National Geographic. Today, it's pretty much stable. Still got problems handling up to 64 players, but I get easily by.

Today I just played the Battlefield 3 beta, aswell. If anyone ever complained about the RO2 release you can just give that a shot, RO2 will look like a Game of the Decade in comparison. It's the most glitched, ugly, non-optimized game I've ever touched, despite I kill the recommended settings.

So what I'm basically saying is that every beta can be horrible. DICE has a much wider set of funds than Tripwire has, and despite this Heroes of Stalingrad can easily outmatch that eye-sore fugliness.

Just wanted to say I appreciate the work you're doing, and keep it up!

That your post is useless, so what if another game has a buggy beta? How does it make this game any better? It won't make tripwire work harder to crap out patches once a week. The only reason you posted this is because theres a bandwagon of hate towards BF3 (most likely gonna be called a fanboy for this).

RO2 is a fine game, BF3 is also a fine game people can enjoy both easily, there is no need for such elitism that is displayed on this board and all the hate people spread just because a game is different from theirs.

Yep, but the bf3 fanboys coming here to hate on ro2 is getting really old and pathetic

When RO2 is ****ty in beta with 6 hours left of beta people say "but its beta guys, they will fix it obviously tonight with magic patch"

When BF3 has a MONTH left in beta the same people say "lol wow this game is totally crap and broken"

I was interested in BF3 and then after reading some of the forum post like this one>

Well we don't need to compare but

BF3 is still a beta. Just like how RO2 was a beta.

And BF3 will be a released game with bugs after the first few patches.

Just like RO2 is a released game with a couple bugs after patches.

No matter how AAA, wealthy, money riddling, EA supported, arcade making, game reviving, loaded team of specialist you are, each game still has its flaws.

"Beta" :cool: ..... but yes, no matter how big your company is, how many people you have working for you or how much money you have, no game you develop will ever be perfect, especially during the beta stages.... thus Beta.

It was only a matter of time before people started to figure this out, lol.

I'm just suprised it's taking so many people this long to understand how the game development process works.

RO2 is awesome. BF3 is ok for me now, but I'll really like it when a realism mod gets to it. Hopfully singleplayer will be good for it.

RO2 will recieve my game of the year award, hope TWI cares about my opinoin cause it really is the best game I've played since, dont know.


Oh and to hate on some of the BF3 guys, (RO2 forum c'mon) Was on the BF3 forum and ALOT of people wanted health to be increased. I logged onto BF3 forum to complain that health should be decreased! lol
