Red October Factory - Axis
Apartments -Axis
Mamayev Kurgan - Axis
Pavlov's House - Axis
Fallen Fighters - Allies
Grain Elevator - Allies
Station - Allies

A couple of maps it's hard to tell who should win. Spartanovka it should be Allies win every time but the majority of the time they allow the Axis team down the gully. Also Barracks, the Allies should have the advantage but it's always a close game.

Yep about right
Spartanovka the germans should win more all you need to do is cover the gully with a MG and push the gully

Barracks is all about the flanks who ever knows this wins
or you end up with a good fight
Barracks the russians mostly win using better tactics
the germans just keep running to the caps while getting flanked

With Apartments, its usually Allied incompetence that loses it for me. I think we all know what I am talking about: that tendency for half the rifleman (and, more infuriatingly, some SLs) on the allied side to hide in the buildings during the push for A/B, hoping to score some sweet kills without risking excessive death. If A/B is taken with more than 6 mins to go, its usually a game over for Germany.

If the Axis take get in the Station building they pretty much win, so there is 1 tough spot and after that the Allies can't manage to defend the building. Its the same with Grain Elevator - if the Axis get inside - gg Allies. FF is pretty much the most balanced map because of its layout. I may say its the only map which is not one sided at all.

You must understand that -
- the axis team will always outnumber the allies team;
- the majority of good players always stack in the axis team;
- the overall win percentage is led by the axis team;
- most of the maps favors the axis team, even if they have 1 or 2 tough spots the rest points are better for them;
- the axis weapons are superior;
- the axis team always wins
Your correct on most of the above .Its a shame but i am about to give up on ever playing on the attacking team at least 4 of the maps .Servers of 64 players no one uses there mic and its turns in to a meat grinder most of the time.Some of these maps i must have played over 100 times as the Russians and won maybe once are twice .

Most games descend in to a game of death match in my experience.Lots of attackers just give up on attacking and just play death match now.Maps would be fine with teams that communicate , but FACT in only a few players us there mics so these maps become horrible unbalanced and not relay fun for players who try to get in the cap when attacking.Its only fun when your in ateam that use there coms and paly to the objective and that is rare

Some of the new custom maps have been much better than the stock maps in terms of balance and game play.Great game but it does have some serious balance issues on some of the maps any one with a brain joins the Axis when defending and the rest are just lambs to the slaughter ))

Updated original post!

I haven't been playing as much as before, had other things to see to, but we can see the trends continuing.

I would be careful about making assumptions based on what we think happens and what actually happens, for example, I was pretty sure that Axis manage to win Barracks at least half of the time, and yet, we see that in my experience, Allies definitely dominate that map. Same for Pavlov's, where I was sure Allies get to win an even number of times too.

I still stick to what I said in a thread about Mamayev being unbalanced, that I think Allies win not because of their strengths but because of the weaknesses in the Axis team: I was on Allies for the new wins I have recorded and it seemed like their commander and smoke support was non-existent.

Both of those (And Apartments) surprise me, too. Mind, at this point the numbers are probably still susceptible to bias due to the small sample size (Not at all a criticism of your methods, as they're far more thorough than anything else we have, just a general problem with extracting data from small sample sizes).

I hope you'll keep it up. It's good to see someone gathering actual data! It's too bad the game itself doesn't do some sort of automatic tracking like some other games do.
