I like to think of this as the weapon jam. It happens for me primarily with SMGS which were very prone to malfunction.

I actually wish they'd add this feature to nerf the smg just a bit including voice ("damn this gun!") and animation (clearing the jam).

Ah well. Once can dream.

Seeing bodies put through walls by explosions, like they've been screwing around with a prototype of the Portal gun, is pretty fun. Also kind of creepy to walk up on it, it's like how an interior decorator would design Hell.

I think Break Dancing Soviet Corpse just took the cake though.
