Well considering this was developed in 1944 over a year after the battle for Stalingrad ended, this would never be put in.

Yeah, but rare weapons in RO1 were rare. The Germans would rarely be given more than 3 G-41s, there was no incentive to use the MP41 over the MP40 and few maps had the PPD40. It's pretty different from having 6 people using a rare weapon on all maps. I'm not against the AVT-40 and the MkB42, but they look standard issue right now.Here we go again...
