Keep the xp
I've just played a long, long match on Bridges of Druzhina B5. I was the German commander and I had the most kills, 100+.
Anyway, the first round wasn't that long and the Russians won (I joined in as the Commander only at the end of it). The second one was exhaustingly huge and after we one, to everyone's dismay, there was a third one. Everybody wanted to leave but few did because of the xp loss. And then I lost connection. Nothing moved except for me and I could shoot infinitely and so on. Who knows what I did during that time. The situation couldn't be resolved, so I had to leave. Now all that massive hard work is lost. I've never seen the point of only giving xp at the end of the match. If not whenever you leave, then at the end of each round seems best. I sure would have gotten the hell out, although most of the players, I imagine, would, so I kind of see the point. Still, pros over cons I think. What do you think?

Wait, so XP is lost if you leave before the end of the match? Huh, never knew that for certan. Yes, I say award it for how ever long you've been in game.

I've noticed this as well, but I think the XP is a lure & bait ploy to get players to finish the game, rather than leave after 1 round.

I myself would finish matches, but not this excrutiating one. I think every round was set to 40 or 45 minutes and the number of reinforcements was something like 800.
I was thankful that the first round was over in a bit less than 20 minutes, I think. THE SECOND ONE MET THE TIME LIMIT. So I feel like I've been robbed.

XP has been given at the end of each round. Or so it was said to be, from the very first patches, last year.

End of the round, not match. You must complete the round to get it.
If you are dropping connection before end of round and missing the XP, then the actual problem is your internet connection, not the game.
