Default Tilted widget

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to correct a tilted widget? I'm using Geometry mode to re-size and modify the red builder brush and when I try to select either an edge or corner the widget "tilts" 45 deg. which makes it pretty much impossible to create the brush shape you want. This has happened to me before but I don't know what caused it or how to correct it.

Up on the menu bar....you'll find 2 settings. Local and World. Make sure you're in World mode.

Local is very handy when you're placing meshes on weird angles. and you want to maintain that again while duplicating your meshes.
