GLaDOS removal method?

I can't stand portal which means I really can't stand GLaDOS, is there any way to turn off trader sounds until this event is over. Any help would be appreciated, the game is unplayable for me at the moment.

I'm not sure why disliking a game would mean you dislike any of its content being in another game, but that's just me... perhaps it reminds you of your inability to solve puzzles.

There's nothing you can do but wait for the event to end, which I'd imagine will be at the end of the month.

Ok. It is July 1, 2012. The month is over. When does this Glados event end? Does anyone know the date that it will be over?

if not having glados is such a massive issue, then just forums search for L4D trader mod. Its a white-listed mod that lets you replace the trader with Zoey from L4D. Basically, you just extract the files and replace what current files you have, with the files from the mod. If done right, glados's model will be swapped with a Zoey model, and glados's voice lines will be replaced with Zoey lines. Oh, and the picture that appears whenever someone is talking, will display a picture of zoey.


So, there you go. Thats a quick fix. If you dont like Zoey, then I pity you
