Translated: I can't camp and cheese my way through a map anymore.

Am I close?

That was uncalled for. All I did was simply state my opinion. There was no need for any of you to be so rude towards me.

I never camp anyway. I run around the map most the time, until I get to later waves then I stick with my friends. Unless of course I'm a field medic, then I'll obviously stay wherever my teammates are.

Then why has the BioticsLab change irked you so?

At the time of my original posting, I had just found the change and after playing a bit decided I didn't like it since crawlers spawn from it (damn crawlers, you understand). I suppose I really don't mind now anyway.

On the subject of change, I'm playing Farm now and realize the little uh, spaces under the staircases have been filled with barrels. I wonder why the change? I was always too scared to sit in a little hole >.> I remember a weapon would spawn in one though. Wonder if that weapon spawn is gone or simply moved?

Also in BioticsLab, did they move that one bed backwards on the second floor in that room with the two ammo spawns, or is it just me seeing things?

It is me, or does the Support Specialist seem to be buffed in the update? I can take out a Scrake with three shells from a Hunting shotgun on Suicidal Solo as a lv6 Support and the AA12 and standard shottie seem to have a lot more punch to them.
Also Suicidal seems to spawn more Zeds per player.

I was noticing that little things seemed to be off. Demo grenades felt weaker to me, so did the scar.

I think we are just both going crazy though.

Well after reinstalling, verifying integrity of game cache, etc.. I can't get perks to show up in any solo game. I often play extremely late night and few people are on so I play solo and still want my perks to advance. Was this option removed or is it just screwed up with another bad update? I haven't seen or heard others complain about it. Like the terrible lock up and lag between map changes, it must just happen to certain people.

The new Filthscross looks absolutely fantastic - love Filth's new textures. It's lost it's early attack still relatively untouched sheen the original had and now its a real post apocalypse six months later type real gritty feel. Love it! My kind of grime. I have not seen much mention of it so I urge folk to check it out so they don't miss out. And its still a level 7 map with friendly fire so it's a real bunny boiler of a map.

While the hole in Bioticslab probably is a good idea, it LOOKS quite random. And a newbie might notice the hole only after a crawler dropped on his head.

Gentlemen, a new topic for whining is now open.

I thought the same thing. I would like to see a panel of the ceiling below for realism and okay nevermind I can't do it.
Someone else take a crack at whining about that. :/!

I see, thank you for clearing that up. Sucks that i cant even use them in single player where i thought one couldn't gain XP anyways... unless i missed something about that as well.

I did notice that some of the basic fixes haven't been touched. For instance if you run out of ammo with a HC, switch to another weapon, then back to the pistol slot "2" it will default on the most powerful weapon even if it has no ammo and is consequently powerless.

I came out of hibernation on this one when i saw the update and got my hopes up. New weapons might be nice, but in all honesty with the un-whitelisting of entertaining mutators its almost less fun then when i played it last months ago. I guess i'll keep my eye on steam news for future updates.

You can't expect TWI to fix what you "wanted" to be fixed can you? Unwhitelisting those mutators was very neccessary because people were grinding perks and using them for exploits.
