Fair enough.
Even though it's far from perfect (as with any other fps game out there), it's definitely worth the money. Good luck and see you on the battlefield

Even shooting bots can sometimes be fun, the ballistics are my favorite in any shooter currently. Though I get why you'd want to take the community's pulse.

Welcome!

There are always at least a few full 64-player servers.

Yes, the game is worth getting, and in many cases your best experiences will be on servers with less than 64 players

Sry have to correct you

After a long time playing classic, I have to say: "be sure to check out the Immersion Overhaul Mutator in the unranked serverlist for the most realistic gameplay experience!!!"

And yes, server with ca. 40 player are much more fun than full 64 slot server. Itīs just too much for the most maps we have in RO2.

I disagree, with the exception of apartments ad barracks, I think the maps are great on 64 player servers.

Maybe, but the majority of the players that 64 player servers attract are not

No, with only a couple of exceptions (when I am playing), they don't. Oh, I will say the one Aussie NZ server is good and I have seen that full.

thanks for your warm welcome! i appreciate that!
i have downloaded the SP part and am playing it while the MP part is being downloaded. the game looks awesome despite the fact that the bots are SUPER stupid but then again i think RO2 is only meant to be played online so i can live with that xD.
i have a question though , what is RO2:rising storm beta? i have downloaded the SP part which was around 6.5 GB s an am downloading MP part which is around 10.5 GB s but i can see yet another file there called RO2:RS beta which is around 6 GB s. do i need to download it in order to play the game online?

Hurry up

Itīs just great. We only need some more player on the testserver. Even with IOM itīs not funny to play against bots all the time....

ps: Join the Steam Group "Dibblerīs Mod" every member could release a anouncement. And maybe some more player will join the server then. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/dibblersmod

RS BETA is just for testing new official stuff before it will be release for RS/RO Multiplayer. Right now you could test the new S&D (search & destroy / like Counter Strike) mode. And hopefully the new infantry transports...

If you ask for my opinion you need to download RS/RO2 Mulitplayer only. Single player is like playing multiplayer with bots, nothing special... itīs nearly the same like joining a empty Server :P

Red Orchestra was and is a Multiplayer game. Somebody looking forward to see a working Singleplayer, but to be honest I believe that will never happen. RO is Mulitplayer and not Singleplayer and itīs far away from any scripted Singleplayer like BF or CoD etc.

So just download RS/RO2 Multiplayer.
And if you are interestet at more atmosphere try the Immersion Overhaul Mutator, just download it in the steam workshop. try it against bots or on the [OdW] Testserver e.g.

Have fun

Make sure to always find a good server that has good teams on both sides, than you will have a good time.
