Default Throwing a grenade inside a window or doorway

This is hard to explain so I will have to draw it in paint

So basically, the only the thing the enemy will see is your arm throwing a nade, which he can react upon if he's fast enough. I just get tired being forced to reveal myself infront of a doorway/window and become vulnerable just to throw a nade, while in reality I would do it this way. That deformed square is a doorway/opening by the way.

So the soldier throws his nade with his palm facing the wall/doorway using his wrist.

Uh....you could just use the cover system and blind fire the grenade. Or am I misunderstanding something here??

he's saying when he does it (I'm still terrible at it and constantly drop the nades on my side of the door, it seems finnicky for me ) he exposes too much of himself (most of his arm) so he's more likely to be spotted making a rear entry than if it was just his hand. Personally I haven't seen much of it from the other side, so I can't say if it's a problem or not :\

Um yeah, it's been in the game since RO2 was launched. You can't aim exactly where it goes, but going into cover and throwing the grenade will automatically make you flick your hand around the cover and toss it through. The same thing happens with weapons too for blind fire. Just use the cover system and click your fire button & see what happens.

Why would you stand in front of a door/window to throw it inside? If you haven't been aware of this, grenades bounce. Quite predictably, with practice.

I like the idea of the OP, but i usually lob it on a 45degree angle into a room, hopefully there is a wall to bounce of too to make it easier.

As already said this can be done with the cover system. However in most cases it is smarter to throw a grenade as followed:

In most cases its smarter to throw the grenade in the frame of a door or window. It will bounce of the frame and will land behind the door. Also in most cases people will camp in beside a window or a door. You are still not really exposed and more mobile because you are not using the cover system.

Or it will bounce off the frame and land right before your feet

Not if you use the correct angle. However accidents can happen.

Bouncing off the door frame is better imo, it's not that hard to do with some practice. I usually tell my teammates to backup before throwing a nade just in case it misses.
