I just booted up RO2 for the first time in about 4 or 5 months. I stopped playing because of performance issues/lack of overall polish on the game. But now the game is much much smoother and more refined.

The real kicker is that since I last played I downgraded of sorts - I bought a laptop with a 540M which was a slight downgrade from my 9600GT i had in my desktop. I mean I guess my ram and cpu is better - regardless, the game runs great on high settings. I can't figure out why, but it doesn't matter. I'm enjoying the game thoroughly now.

I just wanted to tip my hat to tripwire. You said you'd continue to support the game and amongst the most severe criticism you remained steadfast. RO2 (for me) now rightfully belongs next to RO1 in my collection. I'm excited to see what comes next.

One of the things that they did was better optimize the maps so they weren't as intensive on resources, which pretty well doubled my own FPS.... It pretty well did the same for everyone else.

Action with a full server of Bots.... cuz that's what you want to hear

Yeah but he can't rest until only his precious classic mode is played, and Action and Realism are stricken from the game completely, as one has a cancerous growth removed. And all advocates of Realism or Action are placed in "reeducation" camps, probably.

Nice to know it runs smooth on a good laptop! The game has really come it's way from the dark days of release, it's even come a bit a way from GOTY release too with all the custom maps and support!
