I agree with everything said here, including those points from Gnam.
Regarding Gnam's point 13: removing DM's is already a server setting. I would like that no DM's would be the default though.

There are so many server side settings however admins needs to change to custom mode.
For example you can easily set a server to have exactly the same settings as the Classic Mode, however you can remove the compass. The only difference, apart from no compass, is that it will be displayed as 'Custom Mode'. |

About zoom, again
![]() I have played a lot with the MG last time, and i nearly never use the extra shift zoom MG´s have in Classic ( ) And I think I don´t need it, and it would be ok when all weapons have the small MG zoom as maximum.Variant I. : forced IS zoom (like MGs have it) for all weapons Variant II: no IS zoom and only a small (like MGs have it in IS right now in classic) extra shift zoom ( = hold breath), for all weapons That are my personal favorites

I have added a new suggestion in my "spoiler" on page 1, too.
- unlocked satchels and grenades could be taken and throw away. This could give defenders the chance to save a cap-point like the little building on Red October Factory. It´s not for classic only, but it think it is a good and usefull suggestion. I remember "Day of Defeat" Beta were I saved my live a lot of times because I was able to throw a enemy grenade back, and sometimes I kill the enemy with his own grenade ![]() + - Handgrenade throwing power to determine the distance you will throw your grenade, like it was in RO:Ostfront. If you hold your grenade only for a short time you will trow it only a few meters, if you hold it longer (before it explodes of course) you will throw it much longer. + - Tank crew position, same key-bind for every tank: "1" Driver, "2" Gunner, "3" MG, "4" Commander. It is very confusing that the Panzerkampfwagen IV have the gunner position bind to "3" and not to "2" like it is in the T-34, too. The Gunner in RO is much more important than the Commander.
