yupp, and I get a lovely error message
(ive even tried this : http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=57699 and that did not help

same, the list populates and my cpu fan spins faster (something it doesn't do even when i'm playing intense games)

if it crashes on the serverbrowser try 2 things.
1. Make sure that the game is in your exceptions list for your firewall.
2. you could try the folliwing thing as well (in the grey box):https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1452-HCVB-6984

Okay this is going to sound rude and all that, but I Don't mean it in that way.
But Port Forwarding/Firewall set up wrongly, should not make an Executuble File just crash

its a beta, I dont know if that is causing it. But in the serverbrowser the game for the first time connects to the internet. So then its usually a net related issue.
Find the cause of the issue and things can be fixed. Don't know the cause or the replication then everybody is left in the dark and nothing changes. This is a beta.

Same here, only I've managed to get into a server (by spamming the connect button when the server list comes up) only to crash as soon as I connect.

I had this too, + i also get 10 fps in main menu and 1-5 in server browser, hope there is a fix soon.

I've found a temporary solution (works for me) when you click server browser quickly try and click quick refresh. The game will stop looking for servers and in my case, not crash.
