Auto Turrets

I would love a turret/autogun for, say, support specialists to use. You place it somewhere where a lot of the zombies come, like up stairs on the Filth Cross map and has either limited time or limited bullets.

Limited Time suggestion: 1 min/lvl 4 | 1:30 lvl 5 | 2:00 for lvl 6
Limited Bullets suggestion: 500-750 bullets.

Play defence alliance II gun turrets and stealth snipers.
Is anyone really that bad that they need gun turrets??? Maybe it would work on 999 zed wave

Hahaha, seems like this is a very mixed thread.

I've never played TF2, but I think Turrets *MIGHT* be cool on a defense map or something.

I mean, maybe if you bunker down somewhere, I guess it could be fun...

But I don't know about integrating it into regular Killing Floor.

they could work if done properly to be honest and wouldnt be game breaking say give them damage of bullpup with slightly lower rate of fire (RoF increased with rank i guess) also give over heat which changes with rank as well

Clots - perfect for these
bloats - also works well but if they get close enough explosion/bile can destroy
gore- if it last long enough to charge could take it out easily enough
stalker- cant shoot what it cant see so stalkers would be good counter
siren/husk- range attack with some cannon fodder would take them out easily
scrake/Fp not enough firepower to do more then piss them off

so wouldnt be a bad cannon fodder clearer, hard part would be making it not be OP at easier difficulties but still even remotly useful at higher ones.

pretty sure this will never happen.

but i do agree having a tiny little turret that shoots like 1 bullet per 1/2 sec (same dmg as lever action)

sounds appealing.

(surely to balance it, it would have to cost like 5 grand and weigh 10-13 blocks)

but i say again: Will never happen!

Add this: It will cost about 2500-3000$ and will have 200 bullets, it will take dmg from the zed and it has 500 hp. Also, when its deployed the person that deployed it is near it and he cant move/attack but he has the armor of the turret (500 hp).
