Default Can we have the BAR ported into ro2 after rising storm?

Pretty please? i heard some people might be modding over the flame thrower and was wondering if they could do the same for the BAR? The soviets used a number of BAR's that where captured from poland as far as im aware, it would be nice to have an alternative to the DP-28....

The Germans also used them as well. Their numbers were very low compared to other weapons. Perhaps maybe the FG42 would be more common than the browning variant

Yeah buy chances are the Germans will get the MG42 eventually and wouldn't need another weapon ahead of the Russians.

I see the photo, Russians using the BAR..... good enough for me.

I'm kind of over killed with the US weapons, as mentioned before, but I wouldn't have much of an issue if it was brought into the game to help out the Russians, since their MG has no real leveling compared to the German's MG34 Saddle Drum and Belt Feed.

Forget the BAR, I want the DShK.

You'd have to push/tow it around on it's little trolley, and then deploy it to use.

Except that isn't a BAR, it's a Colt Monitor. A BAR copy. http://www.imfdb.org/images/5/53/Colt_Monitor.jpg

I'm not crazy about historical accuracy, so I couldn't give a hoot. I'd actually LOVE to see the Soviets using Lend-Lease BARs and Thompsons. Maybe Shermans as well.

It can be easily done, says Yoshiro (I believe). It would be up to the map makers to add that weapon to the player class in the Map Properties. Also possible for US vs GER maps.

I cannot begin to express how much I am wanting the DShK in this game. Even if it's just fixed, it would be usefull at supressing halftracks and soldiers. Very versitile.

I would love to see how you would get that thing down the stairs and into the basements of Apartments or Commissars House. Or in and out of trenches.

You couldn't. Think of it more as like a really small vehicle.
