WTF: Key Bindings

Nearly Every time (ok its not often anymore) i start RO2, my key Bindings are gone.

Why? Anyone else has this problem?
Its realy anoying and it brings me so fahr not to start RO2 2 times per month, but 0 times in the future....

I fume now noearly 1 year about RO2, i think its enaugh now.

Check your .ini files or better delete them complete.
Then restart you RO2 make a few changes, restart and have a look if it's working.

What other problems do you have if you're talking about playing it less then 2 times in a month?

Find your ROInput cfg and make it read only

I´ve played RO1 to much.

OK, thanks for you help.
But i´m not a client who want to deal with different files. I want to bind my keys one time!

Thats it, i dont ask any more. The state of Ro2 is a cheek.

What different files are you talking about?
And I ask you again, you're calling the state of the game a cheek, if you have problems with it, ask us.

I often saw people complaining about the state of the game and they just had a problem with a few settings....

Just to try to help -- if you're been away for so long -- the patches that have autodownloaded to bring your game to the latest version have probably reset your binds. You can't get around it, even if you stay on top of your .ini.

No problems with the settings.
Ro1 was a passion, RO2 is a joke right now. Run & Gun or empty servers.

And if i come back after a couple of weeks and loose my binds, i have no desire to bind it again, because its not worth, investing 10 mins of time for nothing. Thats the state of the game.

Mostly all good clans are gone, RO League exists not any more. Thats the state.

Just compare the sound...its a joke.

(Still not get it, why patches reset the key binds. But i dont get everything, what was the ideas of RO2)

I haven't had any patches reset my keybinds, so don't know what's up with that.... but if you change the settings in RO2, then hit back to the main splash screen.... Alt-Tab out of RO2 and jump into your config folder and then mark them as read only, so you can nip it in the butt before anything changes them again.... then jump back into RO2 and play.

Regarding the sounds between RO1 and 2, I always hear people complain about the sounds in RO2, yet they sound perfectly fine to me and much better than RO1. RO2 actually sounds like you're in the environment you're supposed to be in (outside, room, etc.).... where RO1 sounded the same no matter what.... and it all sounded like shots and sounds were all created in a padded room.

To each their own I suppose.... then again, maybe it's your sound on your PC, who knows?

Regarding Run & Gunners, they existed plenty in RO1 and ROCA as well... I've seen plenty in my time in all. Even looking at RO1's official trailers you see hip shooting, spray & prays and running around:

Status Update:

We are in the final stage of getting the forum/site integrated. ETA should be over the next few days. As that completes there are several bugs to be fixed (that came up during testing) and some design changes happening.

It's in the works.

I have my own issues with RO2 and I'm not pleased over a number of things in the last year +.... but I'll still play it from time to time when I get a chance.

If you think it sucks and simply don't like it... that's your choice.

It happens to me too, sometimes my settings are gone...

Set that .ini file to read only and the problem is solved.

And you are right, there are many bugs to iron out. But when??
