I thought I had to reach lvl 25 with my gun to get the Bayonet?

Instead, when I leveled up as a rifleman I got the bayonet on the Mosin at level 23, and I even have it on my Kar98k which is lvl 0. This has me totally confused at the moment.

Really? Wow now I'm really confused because I recently bought RO1 to play DH, and I don't remember if it was on the same day that I noticed my new unlock lol.
