Attention KF developers! It seems KF is towards realistic shooting. Then read these real-life firearms limitations. And watch the videos as well, specially the first one.

Rate reduction will yield barrel stability, recoil reduction per time, (thus accuracy), service life (takes longer time for the barrel to wear down), uses standard NATO 5.56 shells (penetrates most bullet-proof vests), etc.

After the release of SOAR, Rate Reduction was implemented on SCAR and ACR. FN, Remington, Bushmaster, Magpul, copied that idea from the patented Rate Reduction System (RRS) of FERFRANS. However, FN, Magpul and others cannot make their weapon's rate of fire below 650rpm because FERFRANS' RRS is patended (between 450 and 650rpm). More ...

Gamers are merely concerned with the feel.
Look at it this way. Why add a wep, which purpose already is in use by an existing weapon? - in this case, your suggestion has the same purpose as the SCAR.

It's cool to see people suggestion new weapon where they actually lay some effort in arguing why this weapon should be added instead of just doing the "ADD THIS WEP NOW!!"#"111!", but why should KF have 2 weapons which has the same purpose.

It's if we added another shotgun or another bazooka or another pistol, or another... You get the point.

More weapons are a good thing, even if they do something similar. More variety is good. It gets boring as hell sometimes using the same 5 guns. I know there is more than 5 guns in KF, but you get my point.
