Default EXTRA SOUNDS? wind / falling snow / rain / water drops in bucket / squeeking floors

can't features like these be added to add to the realism of the game? To fill even more inside of the game so to say... we already got shouting germans and russians so this should then definitely be in

and any other sounds you might suggest which add to the intention / realism.

I don't know if we want to stress this <<less-than-ideal>> sound engine even more.

This would be great, but I'd be surprised if the sound engine could handle it. I only just got death screams working again...

Exactly. IMHO, all that superfluous noise and animation is sure to consume valuable resources that could better be used for new vehicles, weapons and gameplay enhancements.

With a better sound engine it would almost certainly work... but a better sound engine means putting off more important fixes. It should be done, just after everything else.

Uhm, there's already creaking floorboards, dust noises when it falls from above and I'm sure if we actually had a map with rain, it'd have a rain noise.

No idea. I discovered they were working again when I threw a grenade into a room and a teammate ran in before I could stop him, and then had to sit and listen to the whimpering for the next 30 seconds
