I have prevweapon assigned to down, and switch to knife assign to up (which doesn't work online when you spawn with a weapon for some reason). Works pretty well.

I also have the knife, set to x and TWI's highest ranked weap in my inventory gets pulled out with z. I didn't even know they already had a quick swap button... As for the changing # of clicks, if every gun is ranked like it is now, then you know the the next gun will be the next "strongest" gun and so on, so its not too bad.

Cuz having like 3 weapons on one number makes it alot harder, like playing as Zerker and ahving there knife, katana and Axe...

idk about u, but reaching up with my pinkie/ringfinger to tap 1 three times takes forever, whereas scrolling the mousewheel can be done instantly.
