Hostage saving missions

Wouldn't be nice to add...

1) Ramdom Hostages option in the map: hostage are locked inside some rooms of the map, appearing at the middle of a wave, calling for help, with some signal showing where they are (just like the trade signal). If the hostage is saved (touched or leaded to the nearest trader door) the team receives a reward in money.

2) Hostage saving missions: Imagine a huge map with several locations, just like "farm" map. At each wave, the team must go to a ramdom location of the map,(a house or building), where several hostages are locked inside with hordes of undead trying to break inside. The mission involves:

*Not arriving too late at the house despite the hordes of undead at the players necks.

*Keeping alive a minimum number of movable hostages until the end of the wave or a time countdown (when some helicopter or soldiers shoo all the zombies). Also, hostages should have some health and the medic would be able to heal them. It would be possible to create missions where the players are not suppose to kill all zombies, but to keep the hostages alive until de time expires. Imagine the strategy required in keeping the house locked until the end or the strategy required on securing an escape route to another building where it would be easier to keep everyone safe? Maybe hide some hostages in breakable barrels... Imagine using some "expendable" hostages as bait for the flesh pounder..:rolleyes:

*How about making some players playing as hostages? They could cry for help, build doors, run desesparately around faster than the soldiers, reinforce some doors, hide in a barrel...

Well, I think many ideas are possible, what do you think?
 
then how about this idea. "Save the Scientist" Mode. lets say a scientist found a cure to theses zombies but he was the only one left in a base locked in a Protective Room he radio for help and your job is to be dropped near the HOT ZONE then you must battle thru Hordes of Zeds and stuff to get to him then once you get him u most protect him with a Life Meter above his head Via COMMANDO PERK style back to a random extraction point generated after capture of scientist and with mad Zeds and stuff on your back then have a finale when u reach the extraction point with like a Patriarch, Flesh Pounder and Maybe a Husk or Scrake all together trying to kill you.

why would zombies care about taking hostages

just play counter strike


Ahahaha so true!
maybe we should rename them to innocent civilians? Some kind of team objective would be fun in the game and i really cant see capturing the flag working so rescue missions could be cool.

Alternatively having an SD style mission where you have to advance through different areas of a map over a number of rounds until you get to the objective you need to destroy could be good for team work

They are genetic experiments. They are bred. There is no virus, there is no cure.
Just saying. The gamemode can still work if the scientist has a virus instead of a cure and if it can be spread it kills specimens based on a certain DNA sequence they share and 99.x% of the human population doesn't have.

lets getter DONE!!!! i agree call the gamemode either "Save the Scientist" or "Spread The Virus". I would suggest add a Kills Count like a ranking thing to see who just plain killed the most in the mode. but having one boss and 2 big monsters also in the fight like a Patriarch , Flesh Pounder, Husk or Scrake all at once would just rock the FINALE.

lol bug how about at the last wave when your right about to get out with the scientist the patriarch and an army of husks come out and lets say your on a helicopter trying to get away (ground under u moving they r following / shooting ect) and you have to kill em before they destroy the helicopter to get away just to add a twist ^^

yeah sounds good i think we got something going!! come on TWI new mode would be SWEET!!!!
