Tactics Third Tactic - The Art of Melee.

Riflemen: Try to stay back and shoot at long range more often, but move up with bayonet fixed when needed with the help of assault troopers.

Assault:
Try to move up and take ground, when shooting at long range let riflemen do most of the work and shoot in small bursts.

Semi auto riflemen: A mix of both riflemen and assault.

Machine gunner: Stay back and give cover, but don't camp in one position because you'll be spotted. Shoot in short bursts unless the enemy is grouped up.

Sniper:
Stay back far and pick off enemies, but make specialists and leaders a top priority, change positions after a few shots, choose cover carefully.

Squad leader: Give orders out to your men and urge them on, if there is artillery available stay back and call it in, if not then lead your men and cap objectives.

Sapper: The one class where you have to be a little suicidal, rush up to tanks/barricades and blow them up.

Anti tank: (Russian PTRD) Fight in the same way as a sniper, but try to hit tanks from the back and sides, or disable their tracks so sappers can destroy them.

Anti tank: (German Panzerfoust)
Try to get up close to tanks, preferable from the back, sides, or even top.

Tank driver: Drive to where you are ordered and close to other tanks, stop when the gunner wants to shoot NO MATTER WHAT! Drive back a few paces after he fires.

Tank commander/gunner: Try to look out of ports and binoculars when looking for enemies, switch to main gun when ready to fire, tell the driver when to stop or go, try to calculate the distance of the target. Only use MG when its worth killing the infantry, remember to switch shells for different targets!

Tank machine gunner:
Only fire when it is worth it, DO NOT GIVE AWAY YOUR POSITION.

As for the PPsh thing, I'm a hybrid. If I'm desperate, spray. Heavy fire, cower and sniper from the farest position within range.
As for melee, I usually just charge like a Japanese guy on a banzai charge.
If anythings gets implemented into the RO2 melee, I guess blocking would make me happy. And your character would have short "concussions" upon being hit, as I mentioned on another thread.

My melee style is so deadly that it can kill He-Man

well, I prefer to approach enemies behind 120mm of nicely sloped armor, having for my disposal massive, preferably 122mm gun and machine gun. And since I'm lazy and fat, I don't like running so 520HP engine is needed also :IS2:
However, 45mm of nicely sloped armor, 76mm gun, 2 machineguns and 500HP is sufficient enough.
Other than that PPSH spray and pray rush for me. Why bother with melee when you can put 71 bulets into enemies at 900 rounds per minutes:D
