i often get this message after gamecrash; my drivers are updated.

I have two 8800GTS's running in SLI.
I consistently had game crashes after installing the latest nVidia drivers.
I had to revert back to the 258.96 drivers before things were stable again. (And I didn't have an easy time of getting rid of all of the newer driver components. Rolling back was not the answer...:mad:)

Don't know if this helps. You might try checking on the nVidia forums and specifically the 9800 section.
