Just a common sense-based guess, but wouldn't they have reversed their caps to make using the optics easier?

I think we should be able to bind a key to turn-cap-180dgr :P

...including the animation

Much more interesting are the sideplates "Panzerschürzen". They don not just cover the tracks, bus also the "turret". I have never seen this before.

Stugs have no turret. Therefore the "Panzerschürzen" are dandy as seen.

Yeah, we need more hats actually. I always thought that the Axis Heroes must have officers' or field marshal hat instead of helmet. Similar to the one that the Team Leader have.
