Multiplayer server search options broken, achievements not registering

Why is it that 2-3 years after this game has been released, the server list and search options within the game are broken? My friends and I are constantly having issues where we can't join each others servers from within steams friends list or from the queried server list. We try no filters, some filters, etc., but we are unable able to find the servers some of us join.

Then, the favorites are also broken. Sometimes, the favorites will work; other times, it doesn't. I will add a server to favorites, but often it doesn't show up.

Third of all, achievements are broken. I played on 3 perk enabled servers today. On all three of these, I completed the kill 5 crawlers with a bullpup in one round achievement, but neither steam nor killing floor recognizes that I've completed it.

There are some problems with the Steam service sometimes when it comes to many games like KF. Also, it is quite possible that the servers that you played on were greylisted, which allows you to use perks, but does not save them. As for Favourites, it's only the Steam one that is broken, the KF one is always fine for me.
