Now who would have seen that map coming?

Looks awesome and I am sure, given Drecks experience in mapping, gameplay will be awesome.

Dank u wel, meneer.

I disagree, Rakovice is in Slovakia, pretty much out of reach of the American and British bombers. The Russians didn't use much stategic bombing. The landscape, grass and trees are actually very convincing, as are the buildings.

Even in Germany in 1945 not everything was burned down to the top soil. Here is a recon photo, taken on 12th May 1945 of a German airfield near Hamburg. Apart from some filled up bomb craters on the runway there is hardly any damage visible.

What I specially like on this map apart from the obvious eye candy is that Drecks chose a realistic tower. Too many WW2 games feature modern towers with the angled windows that were not used on WW2 airfields. An eye for small details often is what makes a map special.

Thats why google excist Linkie

The question is how it will play with humans. As the Flaks and Ammo bunker have to capped both
by the Russians and they can be recapped this part might be hard. The hangar has no recap.
In the original the Flaks,Ammobunker and Hangar where open all at once. And the Hangar and Flaks
could be recapped.

And I have some weirdo thing with the tankroles. The tankcommander will show but the Tankcrew roles
won't always show. Kind a weird I have the same settings as Red Oktober.

And another thing I need to figure out is how the bots will use tanks.

The ammobunker was recapable......until the ammo was destroyed, same as the flak guns.
If the Allies capped the guns and the ammodump then destoyed them, they couldn't be recapped.

where's my clown car? It's just not the same if I can't drive between buildings and murder people by running them over
