What is your most hated kind of player?

Lots're just repeats, but:

People who don't heal others. Not many people out there bother to share the needle anymore. As a result, most of my time is spent healing others, regardless of my perk.

Most of the medics I meet don't heal and act as if they're a use-any-weapon perk. The use-any-weapon part would be fine if they could manage the you're-a-medic part.

People who rambo. Either they're bad and end up dead, or they're good and make the round slow for the rest of the team. It's a lose/lose.

People who use off-perk weapons. There are exceptions, like a katana for close encounters or an M79 for clearing crawlers. You know, the viable stuff. But seeing a firebug main a bullpup, a support specialist wielding a flamethrower, a sharpshooter with a shotgun; that just isn't good. And when you do politely give them a push in the right direction, it usually falls on deaf ears. :(

Exploiters. I hate joining an Evil Santa's Lair game just to see everyone huddled together in the exploit. I can't imagine how anyone could do that and still have fun.

People who stack pipebombs in giant piles. That was patched months ago. Right up until this Christmas update it felt like I couldn't go a match without having to say, "stacking pipebombs doesn't work anymore, you have to spread them out." Even then I disliked the notion of having a minefield. I'm definitely grateful for the raised pipebomb prices. So far it seems people have used them more intelligently.

That's all for now.

Medics using shotguns.
I've actually had Medics refuse to buy the Medic Gun because it "does bad damage". Do they not understand that the weapon's appeal is in distance healing?
I use both the shotgun and the medic gun.

I use the shotgun if I need to fight, and I use the medic gun to heal. I have crappy aim, so I don't/can't use the crossbow.

So, yeah, post your most hated kinds of players.
My hatelist:
1)people who equip weapons, their perks doesnt use.
2)Chainsaws.
3)People, always blaming their team for his death. (even though he was going rambo)

I play medic mostly, so all of my qualms revolve around healing:

1) The window lickers that stand in the back of the squad with their syringe out trying to heal themselves after I filled their health 20 seconds ago, all the while our front lines are being overrun.

2) Dumb demo men who use the grenade launcher to kill single clots, and every time they do so they cut their own health in half because they are shooting two feet in front of them.

3) The timmy toughnuts that ignore my pleas that we should stick together, completely ignoring the fact that they die on every single wave when they try to rambo their way around the map.

More to come as I get more experienced.

Ha, I actually like the idea of this thread, so I'm going to post an interesting couple of troll encounters that make me giggle.

Waaaaay back in the mod days, whilst playing the late KF 2.5 build of ye old Alex Quick - Kyben, Vagabond and I were playing a kickass game on Bioticslabs, intense as f#ck - when lo and behold some random joins in mid-wave around wave 5. He sits there spectating whilst we holler orders and co-ordinate to each other, then quite randomly he blurts out (to the best of my memory it went something along these lines):

"YOU ARE PATHETIC FAGGOTS LIKE YOUR PARENTS AND THEIR PARENTS BEFORE THEM, YOU SHOULD ALL GO AND KILL YOURSELVES."

He waited for a few moments after this, and upon receiving absolutely no attention from us (we were far to pre-occupied staying alive) he promptly left the server. We all burst out laughing afterwards - since the whole thing was just surreal. Its the equivalent of you sitting down to have lunch with some mates, and a guy you've never met before bursts in and starts hollering insults, then abruptly leaves when no-one even looks up from their sandwich.

Another episode, equally moronic and actually an interesting development in troll culture, is PAIRS of door-blockers, or pairs of people who are dedicated to ruining the game. Had a pair of them the other night, though eventually we taught the new gamers how to kick-vote and had them removed. Interestingly enough we only had to remove one of them for the other guy to immediately follow his friend.
I struggle to comprehend what these people are like in reality - who sits there at their PC going - YEAH I'm so badass - look at everyone complaining because they aren't having fun, what idiots. I'm so high above everyone else, jeesus, I'm god's gift to the world....*Awkward pause* F#ck I'm bored.

Was playing on Crash with Holy_Diver about an hour ago. We kept giving money to people that had just joined the server, only to have them leave during or right after their first wave playing. Four times. :[

One of them was a level 4 sharpshooter who wandered off on his own, died and then proclaimed "you guys ****ed me" before quitting.

I remember this game. I had sunk about 2k into one of the Lv 4 Sharp. . .

The only thing I really hate is people who MUST HAVE THE MOST KILLS NO MATTER WHAT. They always push further and further out and eventually get everyone killed because everyone gets bored (since there are no zeds to kill) and follows.

I especially hate this when I see a level 6 player doing it. They don't need the levels, they are simply stroking their internet ego.
ur just mad cause you cant top frag

@Above quote

The harder the difficulty, the less people do this. I have a lot of friends who play on normal, hard, etc. I often have trouble enjoying games with them because of crap like this that often does not happen on HoE.

If they are worried about anything but surviving (like kill counts..), the game isn't tough enough.

1)People who clearly realize 1-2 guys have an Xbow but insist on pissing off the scrake and FP when they are a low level.
2)Firebug sprayers, the assholes that run infront because they HAVE TO HAVE THE KILLS.
3)Medics who don't heal other players
4)Rambo players who get upset when they die even though they went rambo

Just a few tho :D

I am an admitted, and intentional, body-blocker. If it happens to you, and I'm in your game, you probably deserved it.

My admins and I are quick to ban people like you. This is a team game and relies on everyone to work as a team like a well crafted chain, and if there is a broken link... remove it.

Predicted posts later on:
Admins that ban for lame reasons

This hasn't happened to me, and i hope it never does:

People who think because you have the ability to aim that you're hacking/aimbotting/similar effect.

This has happened to me:

Bodyblockers. If i'm trying to get somewhere, let me.

People who ask for money after wave 1; even more when they joined halfway through the wave. It's wave 1, on Hard/Sui/HoE, what makes you think i have money?

(this has stopped being in affect) Zerdics.

(this has stopped being in affect) Spamshootards.

Demos who feel they need to recarpet the maps.

People who teamkill on FF, or cause themselves to be teamkilled.
People who teaminjure on FF, here's looking at you, uncareful aiming demos.

People who think because they can use a particular weapon in cowadooty they can use it in KF. These people are related to the noobs.

Noobs. If you're on HoE, i expect a L6 perk. It's not that i'm elitist, it's that i want the game to be successful.

People who ask for money, then blow it on a non-perk weapon; and/or then die; and/or then ragequit.

People who ask for money, then just leave.

People who think that kills = skills.

People who shoot scrakes when the zerker is taking care of it.

People who shoot FPs and piss it off.

People who run into the doorway of the Trader, then stand there.

People who run into the Trader, and stand in a spot so people can't get out.

Killwhores. If a Berserker is running towards something, it's his. If it's on fire, it's the Firebug's. If it's headless, let it bleed out (unless it's dangerous to do so.)

Self healers when it's not critical/lifethreatening. I can accept a player self-healing when they've got very low health, but when it's 50+ and i'm near you (and you know it) then let me heal you.

People who keep running, even though i'm running after them trying to heal them.

People who blame their failures on others.

Rambos.

People who aren't team players.

Low levels who think Suicidal just means it's harder.

EDIT: money thieves, as well. If i'm giving someone money, i'm not giving it to you.

THIS. I can't stand when people steal my kill AND waste ammo shooting down a headless clot, and of course, they have to shoot that headless clot like five times even though it only takes one bullet to down them. Also, on a related note, people who don't aim for the head. Who here on this Earth that is even remotely familiar with Western pop culture (i.e. anybody with an internet connection) doesn't know to aim for the head? Here I am, calmly dispatching zeds with single headshots from long distance, trying to conserve ammo, while the rest of my idiot team is spraying everywhere wasting ammo. Gah.

Excuse some of us for not having the skills to snapshoot running gorefasts or ZEDs moving perpendicular to my LOS. At that point body shots that hits count way more than head shots that misses. The only exception is the sharpshooter, because the slow rate of fire on their weapons.

That is not to say I dont aim for the head as long as I have some range between my and the enemy, but once I can see the white in their eyes, it is time for rock 'n' roll.

I disagree with this. I don't killwhore, but I will kill anything I can that is in my line of sight. A dead enemy can't harm the team. I expect my teammates to do the same.
