How about an italian front mod, with germans kitted out as Paratroopers, very few of the ww2 fps have tackled the german para korps.

Well they weren't really used after Crete in 1941 due to the casualties they received.
I think however if something like this was done it might be interesting covering the large airborne drop in the netherlands during the invasion. Would definitely be good to see the uniforms like you say.

Exactly. They were utilized as front line troops throughout the war. A waste of good soldiers.

I'm not sure they were always wasted. They tended to hold their ground very well, and were considered crack troops by the Allies.

Some of the best troops, airborne/ paras were some of the best trained and professional. Both sides.
Just that using as front-line troops, just wasn't what they were trained to do.
